Dear P.S. 184Q Families,
We are so pleased to announce that our school community was able to raise over $800 for the Tunnels to Towers organization! Thank you to all of the students, families and staff members who made donations!
Save the date! Join us on Thursday, November 20th from 5-7pm for Family Game Night! Come for a fun night of games, prizes, and laughter!
We are planning to have a Lock down drill this upcoming week as we continue to practice all of our safety drills.

No School – Veteran’s Day – Tuesday, November 11th

Family Fun Night – Thursday, November 20 from 5-7pm. Be on the lookout for the flyer coming home this week.

Fall Photo Retakes – This day is only for those who were absent or If you wish for your child to retake their fall photos. Monday, October 24th.

PTA General membership meeting/SLT election – Monday, October 24th at 7:00 pm.
Important Announcements:

Breakfast – Doors open for breakfast at 7:40am. All students who come must take a breakfast.

Lateness – Students arriving after 8:15 must be signed in at the main office by an adult. Please be sure your child is in school on time by 8:10am.

Scooter and Bike Safety – ALL children riding on scooters and bicycles should wear helmets at all times to ensure their safety.

Traffic Safety – Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Do not double park. Do not triple park. Do not let your child let your child out in the middle of the street. Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways.

Outdoor recess – Students will be going out to recess as long as the weather permits. Please ensure that your children are dressed appropriately and wear closed shoes – no flip flops and no Crocs.

School iPads – If you would like your child to be able to bring their school issued iPad back and forth from home, you must contact Ms. Blanchet and set up a time to fill out a DOE device loan agreement. Please note that this is different than the school loan agreement. Families will be responsible for any damage to the ipad and/or keyboard covers.
