Dear P.S. 184Q Families,
We look forward to welcoming all of our families to our school for “Meet the Teacher” on Monday, September 15th from 4-7pm. Please check the schedule HERE.
This coming week, we plan to take advantage have two more evacuation drills. These drills help students to know what to do in the event of an emergency. We will be practicing these drills throughout the year.

No school – Tuesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, September 24th in observance of Rosh Hashanah

PTA meeting – Monday, September 29 @ 7pm. This is a virtual meeting.
Important Announcements:

Breakfast – Doors open for breakfast at 7:40am. All students who come must take a breakfast.

Lateness – Students arriving after 8:15 must be signed in at the main office by an adult. Please be sure your child is in school on time by 8:10am.

Traffic Safety – Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Do not double park. Do not triple park. Do not let your child let your child out in the middle of the street. Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways.

Outdoor recess – Students will be going out to recess as long as the weather permits. Please ensure that your children are dressed appropriately and wear closed shoes – no flip flops and no Crocs.

School iPads – If you would like your child to be able to bring their school issued iPad back and forth from home, you must contact Ms. Blanchet and set up a time to fill out a DOE device loan agreement. Please note that this is different than the school loan agreement. Families will be responsible for any damage to the ipad and/or keyboard covers.
