Dear P.S. 184Q Families,
It is the final week of school for the 2024-25 school year. We will everyone a safe and fun summer! Please be sure to make time to play outdoors, read lots of books, take walks and enjoy time with your family and friends!
Please be reminded that the last day of school, June 26th, is a HALF DAY for P.S. 184 students!

Fifth Grade Awards Ceremony – Tuesday, June 24th @ 8:30am – This is an invitation only event.

Thursday, June 26th – Last day of school – Please contact the school if your child will be attending the whole day.

Important Announcements:
Heat wave – Please be sure that your child has a water bottle, dress in light fabric clothing and light colors.
Summer Meals – The free Summer Meals program will be available from June 27–August 29, for anyone who’s 18 years old or younger. No registration, documentation, or ID is necessary to receive a free breakfast or lunch meal. Breakfast is served 8:00-9:15am and Lunch will be served 11:00am-1:15pm.
You can find these meals at specific places like select NYC Public Schools, community pool centers, parks, and libraries.

Traffic Safety – Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Traffic safety continues to be a concern during pick up and drop off. Please be sure to follow all traffic rules when dropping off and picking up your children. Keep our children safe!

DO NOT drop off your child in the middle of the street. Pull all the way up to the curb.

If possible, park a block away from the school and walk.

Do not ride e-scooters or e-bikes on the sidewalk.

ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding a scooter or bike. This is a must for children!

Do not block driveways of our neighbors

Do not double park. Do not triple park.
