School Attire – we would like to remind you about the school attire excerpt from the Parent Guardian Handbook.
Words written on clothing should not have any obscenities, curse words, sexual references or be rude and demeaning.
Shorts and skirts must approach the knee, an easy test for appropriate length is to have students stand with arms at their sides and the length of the shorts should be even or longer than where the middle finger ends.
Shirts should be long enough to cover the belly button.
Sneakers should be worn on gym days; this is to protect the gym floor.
No backless shoes or flip-flops including crocs, as accidents can occur.
Caps and hats are not allowed to be worn in classrooms.
No tops with spaghetti straps. Straps must be two finger width wide.
- Students should have a device at home to access Google classroom and virtual meeting platforms like Zoom or Google Meet, etc.
- New! Students in grades K-5 will be required to be online for 5 hours with their teachers
- Students should all know how to log into their student accounts such as Teachhub.
- Outdoor recess – Now that weather is nice, students will be going out to recess more often and enjoy the new and fun recess equipment. For safety, please be sure to send your children with closed toe shoes, (no crocs, slides ) Consider labeling your child’s items so that it can be returned to them if lost.
- Traffic Safety – Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Traffic safety continues to be a concern during pick up and drop off. Please be sure to follow all traffic rules when dropping off and picking up your children. Keep our children safe!
- DO NOT drop off your child in the middle of the street. Pull all the way up to the curb.
- If possible, park a block away from the school and walk.
- Do not ride e-scooters or e-bikes on the sidewalk.
- ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding a scooter or bike. This is a must for children!
- Do not block driveways of our neighbors
- Do not double park. Do not triple park.
