Thank you to the PTA for a successful Picture Day!
Shanah Tovah to our families that celebrate Rosh Hashanah! School will be closed on Thursday, 10/3 and Friday, 10/4.
Important Announcements:

Welcoming Wednesdays – Wednesday, October 2nd – Grades PreK-2. Come see and participate in a Heggerty and Fundations lesson in grades K-2. Prek classes will be highlighting their morning routines.

School iPads – If you would like your child to be able to bring their school issued iPad back and forth from home, you must contact Ms. Agro and set up a time to fill out a DOE device loan agreement. Please note that this is different than the school loan agreement.

Click here for the DOE’s discipline resources. The Discipline Code outlines the standards of behavior and the responses if these standards are not met. We encourage you to become familiar with these standards and discuss them at home. Teachers will be conducting lessons with the students in the coming weeks.

Safety Drills – Due to weather and other circumstances, we were unable to conduct the two planned drills for the week of 9/23. We will try to have one evacuation drill the week of 9/30 and an two additional drills during the week of 10/7.

New Lateness Procedures – After the doors close at 8:20am, for safety reasons, a parent/guardian must ring the doorbell, come sign in with security and then come to the main office to sign your child into school.

Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Do not double park. Do not triple park. Do not let your child let your child out in the middle of the street. Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways.

Keep our Yard Clean – Please be sure to keep our school yard clean by throwing all garbage away in the trash cans. We want to make sure the yard is clean and safe for our students to play in.
Upcoming events:

Pumpkin Patch will take place on Friday, October 18th. The school will also be celebrating Unity day and asking students to wear orange.
