Dear P.S. 184Q Families,
 
A BIG THANK YOU to the PTA for providing staff with an appreciation lunch this past week and for all their support and efforts throughout the year.  Additionally, we would like to congratulate the new executive board members of the PTA for the school year 2024-2025.
 
We would like to welcome and introduce Safety Agent Zambrano to P.S. 184Q. She will be with us for the rest of the school year.

Important Announcement:
  • Carnival Day – Monday, June 10th students from all grades will enjoy a Carnival Day. Thanks to your support throughout the year the PTA is able to sponsor the Carnival.  Please make sure your child is wearing comfortable clothing for physical activity and sneakers as they will be having a day full of fun games and activities in our school gym.
  • Grade 3 – 4 – Enrichment Afterschool Sign up – First come first serve – Use link to sign up
 
  • No school for students
    • Eid-al-Adha Monday, June 17th
    • Juneteenth Wednesday June 19th
  • Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Do not double park. Do not triple park. Do not let your child let your child out in the middle of the street. Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways. 
 
Reminders:
  • Appropriate school attire: As the weather is getting warmer, we want to remind families of the appropriate school attire excerpt from the Parent Guardian Handbook that was shared back in September and is on our school website. 
  • Remote Readiness – Please contact the school if you or your child has difficulty accessing Google Classroom at home.
  • Class Dojo – If you have not done so already, be sure to sign up so that you can get updates from your child’s teacher.
