Dear P.S. 184Q Families,

Wishing all the Mothers and Mother-figures a very Wonderful Mother’s day!
Please join us for the following upcoming events:
  • Field Days – Be on the lookout for letters regarding field day. 
    • Grade Prek – Tuesday, May 21st 
    • Grades K-1 – Wednesday, May 22nd
    • Grades 2-3 – Friday, May 31st
    • Grades 4-5 – Friday, May 17th
  • May 23rd – 5pm- 7pm – Multicultural Night and PTA Food Mania – Come join us for a night of sharing your culture. Show off your cultural clothes. You can even show off a special dance. Share your favorite cultural food. Please fill out the google form to let us know if your child would like to showcase their traditional clothing from their heritage. 
  • Culture Day Parade – Friday, May 24th – Come celebrate our diverse school community. Send your child in their beautiful cultural clothes! More information to follow.
  • Spring Concerts – 8:30 am
    • Tuesday, May 28th – Grade 4
    • Wednesday, May 29th – Grades 2-3
    • Thursday, May 30th  – Grades 1 & 5
Important Announcement:
  • Grade 5 Computer Based Science State Exam – Wednesday – May 15
  • Grade 3 – 4 – Enrichment Afterschool Sign up – First come first serve – Use link to sign up
  • Keep Our Children Safe– PLEASE adhere to all traffic and safety laws. Do not double park. Do not triple park. Do not let your child let your child out in the middle of the street. Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways. 
  • Appropriate school attire: as the weather is getting warmer, we want to remind families of the appropriate school attire excerpt from the Parent Guardian Handbook that was shared back in September and is on our school website. 
  • Remote Readiness – Please contact the school if you or your child has difficulty accessing Google Classroom at home.
  • Class Dojo – If you have not done so already, be sure to sign up so that you can get updates from your child’s teacher.
