We will build on our Learners for Life, for Life! vision this year with a school wide Readers for Life! Program. As part of our Readers for Life! program we are reintroducing the Parents as Reading Partners/ now also called Pick a Reading Partner program. Here is how it works:

Each month we will send home a calendar where reading at home can be tracked and documented. Parents will sign off or initial on reading minutes done at home. Students should read books of their own choosing during this time.

At the end of each month those students who participate and return their calendars will be rewarded and recognized. We look forward to this initiative building excitement and joy around reading.
