PTA MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
Good Morning PS 184 Families,
We would like to begin by thanking you all for your unconditional support this school year. It certainly has been a challenging and confusing time for all of us. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us all to do things differently and school life is not immune to the need for change. The PTA remains focused on supporting our students, families, teachers and staff in every way that we can. We do this with our advocacy, community building and partnering with Mrs. Dimilta to determine critical funding needs for our 184 Community. We are fortunate to have a strong community of parents, teachers and staff who have been working to create a positive environment for our students.
Our most important work remains to advocate for every child. It is the goal for our PTA to ensure ALL our students have the opportunity to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Parent engagement by supporting the PTA is a great way to positively impact our children. Over the last few months it has been quite apparent that our families are willing now more than ever to show their support in donating to our school. We hope that funds raised allow us to support programs that children across all grades can enjoy. We are attaching our membership drive link at the end of this email. As always, and now more than ever, we want to stress that this donation is completely optional. We encourage families to choose an appropriate amount for your financial situation.
This year has been different for many reasons, but your PTA is here to support you, your students and the 184 community. On behalf of the PTA Executive Board, I thank you in advance for your continued support and generosity.
