December 13, 2019

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At this time I am writing to share some news that will greatly affect our school community. Our Parent Coordinator, will be retiring as of Friday, December 20, 2019. Meg has served in her role as Parent Coordinator of P.S. 184Q for over 15 years. She has provided consistent, reliable support for our families, students and staff. In the coming weeks I will have the challenging task of finding the right candidate to fill Meg’s shoes so that our families can continue to receive the high level of support that Meg has provided over the years.

At this time I would like to thank Meg and recognize her for her outstanding service to our school. In addition to supporting the staff and families she has been a great support to me both professionally and personally. Meg has always gone above and beyond in order to get things done for our school. Beyond the work of arranging communicating important information via email and phone messaging, providing quality workshops to families, and fielding questions and concerns from our family members, Meg has planned and participated in school wide events such as the Pumpkin patch, GO Wonder walk working directly with students and staff to build a sense of generosity and charity that supports our Learners for Life, for Life philosophy.

On behalf of the school staff I would like to wish Meg a healthy and happy retirement. As the quote states “Retirement only means it’s time for a new adventure.” We hope Meg will enjoy this next phase of her life and wish her the best!

Sincerely,

Anna Dimilta

Principal
